End Sem Over

So end sems got over yesterday and another sememter comes to an end in an all too familiar fashion. One thing that interested as well as puzzled me these last few days was the euphoria over end of Lalu Raj from Bihar and coming of Nitish in power. I was confounded. From what little we have seen of them in action and given the ground situations in Bihar, my prediction is it will take atleast their full term’s hard work to make any change that shows on ground. If they errr even a fraction, I think Laloo will be back. He is down but not out. And about criminalisation and Laloo, these NDA people are no better as far as I think. If they didn’t had muscle power matching those of Laloo, it would have been impossible for them to wrest power from him and so the question boils down to how better are the NDA rulers able to control their goons. If the goons from NDA go all out, Bihar will be in worse mess that it already is if it is possible. But hope!!, thats what keeps people and democracy going. More on this later. Bye.

End Sem

Another end sem exam beckons. Anothers semester looms to a close. With that familiar feeling and that zero average predictions. It seems that only day that matters academically any more here is the ‘List Day’ . Barring that nothing is academically eventful. Even if something interests you and that is a big IF it turns out eventually that it was of no consequence. How much do you know does not really matters over here. Rather what matters is how much shit you are able to cram in. And so it has been a very familiar story over the years that I have been here. More about that later. Bye.

CAT’05 experiences

Hi there, just thought I would jot down my thoughts and experiences related to CAT ‘05. A gang of friends left for Kanpur in wee hrs(according to us) of saturday morning  for lucknow undecided on mode of transportation to take. The gang grew in size before it coulf take off and thence we decided to hire a vehicle and reached Lucknow around 3 PM. Enjoyed the evening in Nawabo ka sehar and then on Sunday woke up quite early for CAT i.e. if what we were doing earlier quantify as sleeping. After the paper was over, I thought I had done pretty ok and afterwards we did some gunjing at the new gunj(sahara gunj). We returned back and after I saw the solutions provided by CL, I was dumbstruck. But I got over it real soon coz this time I could say it was my mistake of overattempting Quant  which did me in rather than a wishful fancy of some prof. which made me see my name more than once on the list outside Academic office over here . So CAT’05 seems over for me as of now. All the best to those who are still in hunt and to me for CAT’07.

Coherency in thoughts.

One thing I have observed about me over time is that I cannot think coherently most of the time. This leads to very few blogs coming from me. I start something and then I veer off in another direction and that topic is sort of forgotten by me. I will try to improve upon myself and post some of the thoughts coherently here over a span of time. Till then you people will have to find something else to do . Bye.

So finally I got a wordpress blogging account. I don’t know why but I dislike that blogspot thing. Nothing major I’m sure but still.
